Who needs fireworks, anyway??

ME!!!!! William had a fever and was feeling really poorly so we didn't do anything today to celebrate Independence Day. That's a HUGE difference from when, just last year, in my other life, I went to the Park St. Parade, then the fun patriotic service at our church, then sometimes to my friend Carole's house to hang out and talk. At night we would go to some local fireworks display that would ALWAYS be to live music. My fav was the Sulphur Springs display which was on the historic town square, where the fireworks would be shot up over the REALLY cool courthouse to the music played by the Northeast Texas Symphony. *** sigh***
I'm really homesick.
