I only...I think it stinks and tastes bad by itself. I only use it in recipes. The stuff I make with it turns out really yummy, so I don't have a negative association with the smell. I've served sauces made with it to guests who liked it, so all I can say is try again, and don't sniff it!! I think all brands are the same, and they all smell bad. Ignore it an plod on. Its one of those smells you just have to ignore: scrambled eggs, macaroni and cheese, fish, and a gazillion other foods have bad smells but we ignore them because the food tastes good. I'm also like this about hing (the spice). I used to abhor the smell until I came to associate it with my favorite indian dishes. lol! If you want an easy recipe that doesn't use a ton of ingredients, try happy herbivore's quick queso. If you hate it, you won't have wasted much time or ingredients. Good luck!jackinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-357397109892221003.post-35983602213845426682012-03-19T19:18:24.928-06:002012-03-19T19:18:24.928-06:00So be honest with me-- nutritional yeast. What are the secrets to using it? Is it a certain brand or something? How does one use it successfully?Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08570758633378171985noreply@blogger.com
